HAUNTED:
Der Text handelt von Verfolgungswahn und basiert lose auf verschiedenen H.P. Lovecraft Erzählungen. Jemand fühlt sich verfolgt von unbekannten Mächten.
Paranoia, losely based on different H.P. Lovecraft stories. Someone feels haunted by unknown powers.
GHOST:
"Ghost" basiert auf einem hoffentlich allen bekannten Roman von Jack London, wer das Buch bislang nicht kennt, führe es sich zu Gemüte und lerne!
"Ghost" is based upon a certain novel by a certain Jack London that hopefully everybody is familiar with. If not, check out his works and learn!
SWAMPED:
Manche Menschen sind anders und nehmen Dinge anders wahr. Wir haben Fachbegriffe für sie gefunden, erforschen und beobachten sie und wissen doch nichts über ihren Geist. So geht die Welt ihnen auf die Nerven.
Certain people are different and perceive things differently. We have found words to describe them, we study and watch them and still don't know anything about their spirit. This world is a pain in their neck.
THE ERUPTION:
Es geht um Vergänglichkeit, denn schon in der nächsten Sekunde kann das Leben vorüber sein und es fragt sich, was von einer Existenz übrigbleibt.
This one is about perishability. A life can end in a second and the question is what will remain of an existence.
INSOMNIA:
Manchmal wird man von den Geistern der Vergangenheit verfolgt und sieht keinen Weg zu entkommen. Schlaflos, hilflos ist man dem Chaos ausgeliefert. Die Erlösung ist weit entfernt!
Sometimes you´re haunted by ghosts of the past and and there´s no way out. Sleepless, helpless you´re extradited to the chaos. Redemption is far away!
DEAD PLEDGE:
Es geht um das Gefühl, völlig hilflos einem anderen Menschen ausgeliefert zu sein, weil dieser etwas gegen einen in der Hand hat, was das Leben zerstören kann.
About the feeling of being helplessly in the grip of another person as this person has knowledge that could destroy your life.
THE CAPITAL NEW:
Wie es schon immer war und wohl auch immer sein wird. Eine desillusionierte Abhandlung über den Zustand der Gesellschaft. Wenn die Aussicht auf eine höhere Gerechtigkeit am Ende der einzige Trost bleibt, und Ideale das
Einzige, was man dir nicht nehmen kann.
About how it ever was and probably will be. Disillusion about the state of society. When the prospect of some sort of higher justice is the only comfort in the end, your ideals being the only thing that can't be taken away.
PYRE:
Dieser Text thematisiert den Alptraum des Verrats an denen, die uns lieb sind; und in der Konsequenz Selbstverachtung und Schuld.
This song sums up the horror of betrayal on the ones we love most and subsequent self-loathing and guilt.
FROZEN FORTUNE:
Auch diese Zeilen basieren auf einem Buch, das ich jedoch ebenfalls nicht namentlich nennen möchte; es ist auch weniger bekannt als der Ghost-Grundlagentext, Nur soviel: es geht um die komplette Zerstörung eines Lebens durch menschliche Dummheit und Ignoranz.Trotzdem ist es keine Aufforderung, sich geschlagen zu geben; im Gegenteil.
"Frozen Fortune" is also based on a novel, which shall also remain unnamed. It is not important to know that book, anyway the story is that of the complete destruction of a life due to human stupidity and ignorance. However, it´s not an advice to give in and accept defeat, but to fight against it.
